Well I'll be damned. I mentioned that they needed to release this news in the new Cyclops thread and here it is.

Seems like MMC have been busier than they have let on, they seem to be at the same stage of developement as that other group. In fact this model is black which suggests that it might be more of a mould test than a prototype. To the victor the spoils, whoever releases him first wins my bucks. Actually I'm behind MMC for being the group brave enough to start the HoS line.

While typing i took a look at MMC and the other HoS SS and MMC's is way better. I look forward on more news like size, colour and price.


To Kaiju, MMC announced Starscream LOOOOONG ago, the other group stole this and the Insectitrain idea from them.

Good call who ever saw that 04 was missing. I too hope that it is the Insectitrain.

Also hoping we get a Skywarp repaint pretty quickly; I'd prefer owning it in his colors, I suspect.

(Also, I sorta hope we get a Bonecrusher down the road. Really liked his design in the Infestation tiein)

You could paint that blue and brown and call it "Nightscream"  

 

that looks a lot sexier than the DI one IMO.

 

you know, if it comes to HoS seekers, I think I would rather have MMC. While I don't know who will come out on top, I know that for HoS, I do want "one type of art/design" on the shelve, and MMC already did 2 (planning 3 right? insecticon? were they planning BB as well?)

 

Their comment in the FB post says 6", so roughly the size of KMC - maybe shorter with a wide wingspan?

RE: Competition - I said it before that I would love to see both of the HoS designs, maybe one from each company. Looking at them now, that's not happening. In fact, they almost look like they're the exact same prototype - same wings, same feet, same hip kibble, same chest....

 

I don't think anyone has ever hinted at BB. I too am looking forward to more Autobots because with reveals and rumours we now have Prime vs Shockwave, Startscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Shrapnal, Kickback and Bombshell. I know he is a Prime but come on. lol

I'm preferring this one over the competition as I started buying Hearts of Steel toys from MMC and I am a line whore. Presumably there will be repaints of one or both, which might enable me to own both molds.

 

the worse scenario, would be if MMC release starscream and so does the other company. And then MMC release SW, and the other guy release TC, and then MMC deem it not profitable to release TC.
