Has anyone ever done this? I'm taking mine apart now and most of the parts seem to be glued together. How did you guys go about taking care of this guy? He seems like it's going to be a long pain-staking process.

    Any suggestions?

I'm guessing Alt Swindle, because I'm taking that apart myself. And it's horrible. The entire front section along with the seats, doors and rollbars is pegged together. I guess I'll have to get tapping.

I didn't find any glued pieces though, iirc. None that couldn't be forced apart anyway with a little effort. Now Ricochets wrists, those were crazy.

Yep, alt swindle. The entire front section is one pegged piece. The things i thought were glued aren't. It's the front lights. The yare all clipped in. I managed to get the headlights out but the blinkers aren't budging.

Yeah, you'll have to mask off most anything you don't want to paint on the Jeep mold. Everything from the waist up is one big lump of pinned together pieces. Wait I take that back, you can remove the waist by unscrewing the one screw that holds the upper torso to the waist. You can access it through the hood. But yeah, the passenger compartment is all attached to the torso fairly well. It's a little time consuming but the mold is one of the easier to paint.

As for the lower legs, be careful of the springs in the wheelhouse they can be tricky to get back in place.

Yeah, you'll have a hard time with the blinkers...I usually tape them off....as for the rest of him, he comes apart pretty easy....there's one long pin holding the hood and neckjoint/cover piece to the front end, theres one long pin holding the dash/windshield piece to the front end also.....once you get these out, you can remove the two short pins that the doors/rocker panels go to.

The lower parts of the legs are whats glued (where the back seats are)....thats what i thought you were talking about...you have to remove the pin that holds the foot to the leg, and then score the body line to get it to seperate so you can get to the screw thats holding the rear seats on.
