    Hello everyone,

Here are some pics of my WIP universe Swindle kitbash and pretty much finished Brawl. Suggestions needed!

Here is Swindle in robot mode.
The jeep that I used is metal and is really heavy, and thusly, Swindle cannot stand up unless I lean him against something. I also tried to be as G1 accurate as possible.

    The first transformation step.
Turn his arms around at the elbows and turn his head around. That ball is there on the side because I forgot to remove it from a general grevious arm orientated transforming canopy idea thing.

    The second transformation step.
[IMG]Fold the jeep front down over his head.

    The final transformation step/vehicle mode.
Rotate his lower legs around and push his mid and upper leg sections into place (the ball is gone now).

Now for Brawl. I tried to make him look a bit more like a generic "tankish" tank.

    Tank mode.
[IMG]As you can see, I have added a middle turret to make it more G1-ish.

    Side view.

    Transformation step 1.<br>[IMG]
Split the legs and flip out the treads.

    Transformation step 2/walker mode.
The walker mode is purely coincidental, but pretty cool.

    Transformation step 4.
    Flip down the feet.

    Transformation step 5.
Rotate the waist and flip down and rotate the arms.

    Transformation step 6.
    Flip down head and gun.

    Robot mode.
Um, more G1 than he was out of the box (but the Soulders make him look kind of Gundamy).

    Chest cannon idea.

Here is a pic to show that they still function as Bruticus limbs.
I removed all of the tank bits from Blast Off because he has yet to become a Space Shuttle.

Thanks for looking. And again I need suggestions(mainly for Swindle).

P.S. Phew! Typing up that post took over an hour!

So why did you make swindle metal? Considering all the problems that arrise from balance in limb and robot mode.

No disrespect meant because these are pretty cool and thoughtful homebrew transformations. But There were other plastic jeeps to get parts from; like cybertron swindle.

    Reasons

Well, I used metal because it was the only decent jeep toy in our house that no one wanted. I would have used cybertron swindle, but that belongs to my brother. I didn't buy anything because I didn't have any cash and knew that we had some decent stuff anyway.

EDIT: And anyway, this is just a test build, I may get my hands on something better later. Any Ideas where I could get anything from? (apart from my local toyshop), or what I should get?

EDIT 2: And how do I move the thread?

Wow, just look at all that molten plastic o_O

You could always sand the rough patches of molten plastic to smooth it out and then paint it for a cleaner look.

Otherwise it's off to a good start!
