I'm working on repainting the appropriate figure to match her botcon comic look, but I'm running into a snag. Her head doesn't seem to be based off of any TF I know. Yet considering the fact that she didn't have a visor in BW leads me to believe that it IS based off of something. I keep thinking about JLA Hawkgirl but I'm sure that's not it.

MODS, It's only a tiny scan from the comic, please don't hurt me.

well, the basic helmet shape seems to be similar to BM Jetstorm, with just the visor remolded

Thats the first thing I thought of. The "ears" and the basic helmet shape are really similar to Jetstorm.

Who are you basing her off of? I thought it was either C Soundwave or C Unicron.

Yeah, BM Jetstorm is certainly the closest. But will the deluxe head be too small for the Energon Slugslinger mold? Assuming of course you'll be using the same base figure that is (most likely) going to be the next club exclusive after Astrotrain.

get a Hawk girl figure pop the head off, paint all the "flesh" silver and all of the helmet gold and paint the eyes green, and you'll have the head, though it could end up small for the body.

It's an amalgam of Jetstorm and Hawkgirl

Wish someone from Botcon would tell me. Jetfire has that breather mask and Hawkgirls head is way too far off.

It's based off the design they used to create the new-mold head that will be on the toy when they release it a little down the road. Meh-heh.

I think that Cybertron Override's head is about the closest overall. The ears really do it. I'd just get her head and shave off the "prime" crest on the forhead.

What about Energon Landmine? It might be a bit masculine, and you would need to attach some wings to the side.... but it has that V-shaped visor, the central crest near the back of the head, and the glowing green eyes. Or maybe you could just remove the visor from it and stick it on another character's head. Might be too big, though.

the helmet's jetstorm, not question. the inner head itself i would say is somewhere between chromia and override, a little more masculine that chromia/thunderblast basically.
