    Not surprised by it either. Oh well, I'll reserve judgement until I get mine from BBTS. I hope it really is die-cast.

    Not that I'm at all interested in this concept, cause it's a little too otaku for my tastes, but... do you only get one human figure with Op?
    The figure looks like it's a solid, non-articulated mold, but I've seen it in several poses...

    I'd hold off a bit. According to one seller, it says "ABS" on the box. ABS is a type of plastic. This was reported over on the allspark.

    Well... We'll have to have the figure in someone's hand out of the box before we can say diecast for sure...but at that price I never really doubted it would have diecast.

    I'm not a MISB collector by any stretch. (I set my Transformers free). However, I may leave this one in the box. If Transformers are still popular years from now, those new fans aren't going to believe this. The box looks like it belongs in a Barbie playset. Please Takara-Tomy, bring back the Binal Techs!

    Diecast is too easily chipped.
