... aka Todd Macfarlane, R. A. Salvatore and Ken Rolston get together to create an RPG.

It's being billed as "God of War meets Oblivion" which is pretty promising, given that Rolston was leaded designer on Oblivion and Morrowind. And although the few pictures I've seen so far don't give much away, you cannot deny Todd Macfarlane can come up with some pretty awesome looking demons - check out the thing at the end of the trailer!

Of course, having a writer like Salvatore on writing duties is cool as well, I'm not familiar with his work but he's the creator of Drizzt Do'Urden so by reputation I'm sure we're going to get a decent story.

I just hope the way the names are thrown around this isn't a case of hyping a project by the names attached to it. Time will tell, though, but colour me intrigued.

I downloaded and played the demo yesterday from PSN. I am really impressed with it. The combat is smooth, flows really well. The environments are gorgeous especially once you get outdoors. So far it is shaping up to be a great RPG.

I even unlocked special "Reckoning Armor" for Mass Effect 3. And also a special helmet to be used for the character, along with a few other treats. Definitely will be snagging this one.

I got this demo on PS3.....and promptly pre-ordered it for the same system. Largely because for the life of me I cannot find the demo on XboxLive.

And its less like Oblivion and more like a cross between DragonAge and Fable.

Played the demo on 360. It wasn't bad at all. I was going to say it has elements of Dragon Age, Fable, and Oblivion. But ya'll picked up on that. And I'm going to pick up a copy of this for myself.

The demo is fantastic, but buggy. It was made from an old build of the game though. Supposedly BHG sent the game off to another studio, who then had to cut down the code for it to fit on XBL and PSN. The bugs won't appear in the final version.

As for the demo, it's so packed with content that it's impossible to finish everything in the 45 minute free roam you're given. I've replayed it several times and am still discovering new things.

Got this game today,(last copy at Wal-Mart) and enjoying it so far. Even got to use my bonus items for playing the demo.

Shepard's N7 Armor + Twin Souls (Chakrams) = Bad-the-fuck-ass And I haven't even had the chance to level them up yet!

As far as I can tell I didn't get any of the demo bonuses. Do I have to activate them online or something?

I played the demo last night and quite enjoyed it.
But I got the sense the protagonist is overpowered in the demo.
I just walked through every enemy encounter.
I would hope the retail game is more challenging.

I actually do have my XBL and EA accounts linked up. Not sure why it isn't working.

I just got this game, anyone know if it is a good idea to mix and match class styles, like magic with sword wielding?

Yeah, you can do that. The destiny system is essentially an interchangeable class system. New classes are unlocked by distributing points into the three main ability trees (Might, Finesse, and Sorcery), thereby unlocking "destinies" which add bonuses to that type of play, with many different combinations available.

In terms of how you play your class, this is one of the more versitile talent systems I've ever come across.

Can you pick different destinies for each tier?

I've been hearing about this game for nearly 4 years, when Curt Schilling was on The Instance and started up 38 Studios. The demo was pretty cool, and I plan on picking it up. Just waiting for a price drop since I've already got a massive backlog of games from Steam sales already.
