Now that this game is FINALLY out, I can get my Kingdom Hearts fix. Plan to get it soon, but I have WAY to many games to play and one more is overload. If anyone has an opinion or gets the game, I would sure like to hear it.

I have it, and it's pretty fun, but this "tutorial"/story section in the beginning is killing me, I've been playing it for almost 3 hours.

I got is as well. I'm at the Beast world right now.

And yes the beginning was way too long.
And Arieth's new voice actor is simply terrible.
    As well as Leon's.

True, David Boreanaz made an excellent VA for Leon.

Also, Can anyone tell me Seifer's VA? I can't place the name and it's killing me. I've heard it so many times before and just can't remember.

EDIT: Ah, it's Will Friedle. Voice of Terry from Batman Beyond.

You mean they couldn't get Dave back??? Drat, darn and curses. I hate inconsistancy between voices.
Well at least since they had already established the voices in KH I.

Say; I have to wait a few more hours before I can get the game/even start it, since you're in Beast's world could you tell me if Lumiere's lines were voiced by his actual voice actor before his untimley passing?? (Curse my memory I can't recall the name, but I know he was Harry Magraw on Murder She Wrote and rather famous for Law & Order.)

I got it yesterday. I am really liking this game, the reaction commands were hard to get used to at first but i love em now. Christopher Lee is the best voice actor so far for my money.

I watched the opening three times! But I've yet to crack into the game.

The only problem I see with this game is it is far too simple. You could basically beat the entire game just by pressing X alone. Not even locking on or moving, just X. and beat it.

I made a mistake pre-ordering the game at home. I honestly believed I had the willpower to wait until Summer vacation to play the game. I was so wrong it's not even funny. Well, maybe it is. So my parents are sending my game, strategy guide, and my PS2 to me soon. In the meantime, I have Chain of Memories to tide me over.

My roommate told me that he's going to Best Buy to get it. Which bugs me to no end because he told me he never finished the first game. Hell, I almost wanted to throttle him when he asked me if Sephiroth was the final boss of KH1. I don't think he even reached Ansem's introduction.

And I'm one of those inquiring minds that wants to know who voices Jack Sparrow. Also, are Bruce Boxleitner and David Warner really the voices of Tron and Sark? I must know since I don't trust IMDB.

Incidentally, I rewatched the Another Side, Another Story and Deep Dive videos yesterday. I noticed a certain somebody in KH2 is the cloaked Dual-Keyblade fighter.

I'll let you know later on tonight when I get off work. So far I've beaten after Beasts Castle are Olympus Coliseum, Disney Castle, and Timeless River / Steam Boat Willie. I have a choice at either doing PoTC or Atlantis. So either way I'll let you guys tonight.

    Update:

I just finished playing the PoTC world and it appears that none of the voices are from their original actors. Though they sound similar to the originals you can obviously tell.

So maybe I gave Leon's new voice less credit then he deserves; he does a passable job, the new Aerith is a far cry from Mandy Moore, and she seems to have a slight problem with her delievery, but it hardly detracts from the game.

So far I've only reached Land of the Dragons, I got a haircut today and had to deal with the itchy scalp syndrom otherwise I would have continued; besides I didn't want to blow all the fun stuff in one day... I would have wound up playing all night at this rate.

The game may seem to be easy, but remember you get more by leveling up the drive forms and stuff then simply whacking your opponents with the keyblade.

I just L O V E Pete's introduction in this game; obviously he's been off working for Maleficent since KH I, but it's just so funny the way he interacts with Donald, Goofy and Sora... He doesn't strike me as being all out evil like the other conspirators from the first game were.

The Organization is a nice new addition; and damn man you were right, Chris Lee R O C K, ROCKS! :lol

I know what I'm going to be doing as soon as I wake up in the morning, and damn man, that guy who does Mushu is really good at duplicating Ed Murphy; it's like he's channeling him or something.

Last thing I have to say; it's so damn great to finally hear Chip & Dale talk to the others, just seeing dialogue bubbles last time wasn't enough. Scrooge's inclusion is also a welcome addition, hopefully next time they'll add PJ and Max, maybe even Gizmoduck as a summons or something. :D

The point I'm trying to stress is that there is no strategy in the game. Its not like with the boss of this world you have to attack it this way, and do this etc. You pretty much can press X over and over again. Playing on standard alone I'm already in the Tron world and I have yet to use any potion or healing item simply because everything is so easy and non-threatening and there is a save point ever two seconds. I've been waiting for this came since I finished the first Kingdom hearts when it was originally released and I enjoy it but I think it could be a little harder. Like the reviews have been saying story makes up for its weak points.

Things might toughen up during the second run through of the worlds; you never know, though I see where you're coming from... Still the original was pretty much the same way for the most part, besides you just know Sephiroth will be the big toughie. :lol  Although, I am glad I haven't seen the game over screen once yet. :lol

I think for the next game they really need to work on Summons. I see that there really is no point in even using them. The drives on the other hand are amazing. It feels like going SSJ. Sora just rapes everything in his path. The Limits are really nice too. Donald's limit is pretty powerful, like a huge fireworks fest that just kills anything near it.

Here is a helpful word of advice. When you fight the boss in Halloweentown make sure to take off Donald and Goofy's 'autolimit' because the boss battle makes you need to use the triangle button a lot and if you have that on it will just keep doing autolimit instead of letting you do what you want to do.

Well, I just started playing the game a few days ago. I'm still in the training level, but I hit the three hour mark and I'm in the mansion right now, so hopefully later tonight I can get some hours in. Problem with me I can't play the game without the hubby since he wants to watch the story progress. Why won't he play? Because he quit playing the first one on the first level and I picked it up and continued playing :lol .

As for the game play, I really really like it. I SUCK at playing video games and I'm glad that it's a little easier so I can play and watch the story progress. I suffered during the first game, granted I hadn't played a game since Super Mario on the Super Nintendo System :lol  , so i was rather new to 3-D gaming. Anyway, I'm liking it so far. Though easy, I don't mind. It gets me focused more on the story, and I don't really have to worry too much about the battles.
