Fixed. You forgot to add American Dad. (as much as I like the show, the new stuff isn't really working for me. And yes, The Simpsons has been absolute dreck after season 12-13)

Yeah, I never watched American Dad, so I didn't put it in.

Wait...what? No offense to Adult Swim fans, but isn't some of the material on KotH a bit too subtle for Cartoon Network/Adult Swim audiences?

Not to mention right-of-center? When was the last time we had a program like THAT on Adult Swim? Oh, that's right... never.

Ugh. I can’t believe I said that over twelve years ago. 19-year-old me had issues. Been watching King of the Hill in reruns sometimes since then and I personally think it’s great.

Most of King of the Hill's style of humour doesn't really find purchase without a more adult worldview, I find. I've never super enjoyed the show, having grown up in Canada and never really identifying with its Texas-isms, but watching it now, I still certainly catch a lot more of its brand of satire than I ever did in my teen years.

Back then, all I could do was take it at face value, about the mildly humorous escapades of a blue-collar American family. Now, being far more worldly, I can appreciate the more biting commentary at play in most of those scenarios.

I love King of the Hill but wasn't huge on the last few seasons. Hopefully this can reach the same heights as seasons 1-7.
