I would definitely be interested in getting an AFA rubsign starscream, but it's not quite as fun if I just buy one from one of you guys. I'd entertain some offers, but I'm not really in the game to pay over a grand for something that I might be able to do myself for under $500 if I wait it out long enough.

I guess I never paid much attention to the grades AFA actually gives because its just talking about the box quality after a certain point. The figure is what's important, and to keep it minty! (to me at least)

I have a question for you. Are the multitude of different colored decoys official or boots?

 

I was talking with a guy at Botcon about them.

For the actual rubber decoys, there is purple (us) red (canada) peach (Japan giftset)

I also have a bunch of hard plastic japanese candy toy versions, yellow orange, etc.

There are some even smaller rubbery ones. Those are either Mexican or Japanese, but I'd go with Japanese. They are supposed to be real, but not released through conventional outlets. They may be the equivilant of say McDonalds toys or things you would find in a vending machine. There are tons of colors and they aren't worth much.

 

Diablen, please keep an optic open for ghost fo rme.. I am finding it difficult to locate that one. Also rarely in my budget, but that's a different story. You might be the King of Starscream, but I am quite easily the Queen.

I got this recent ghost SS on ebay for about $110. Last one was well over $150. I found some other people willing to part with the Ghost Starscream but for a hefty price. PM me and maybe I can hook it up for you.

BTW, I know there is a guy on Seibertron.com that collects just Skywarp. Has anyone ever known a Thundercracker collection? I kind of have a Sunstorm collection too, but it's not too hard to complete if you can get your hands on the Ehobby guy.

 

I don't dare try to collect other characters. I have some sunstorms and some Skywarps and a handful of Thundercrackers. But if I tried to collect them. My husband would surely murder me. As it is he goes through and points at characters and says: "That's not Starscream, this isn't Starscream, those aren't Starscream"
