Well, as I've been saying, ask for a refund and cut ties with him if anyone feels wronged.

 

I did get a refund, but he lied about my items being in the mail, can upload pics of the conversation if you want. They were in the mail back in April but after they hadn't shown up for a week I filed a PayPal claim because he stopped responding to messages

 

From a seller perspective, I've sold things that have been lost in the mail.

I'm not saying he didn't lie, but I am saying that if he was hell bent on scamming people, cutting and running is something he would have already done.

 

I don't think he's a scammer, at least I hope not, just probably bit off more than he can chew.

I personally bought a shotgun and sniper rifle from him. I got the shotgun, but not the sniper rifle. He refunded me the money right away after I let him know.

I would buy from him again in the future if he turn things around as I did not like waiting a year for my items.

 

Part of me wants to order from him just to spite some of you.

 

The tracking never updated past preshipment, meaning he created the shipping label but never actually gave the item to the post office, despite assuring me it had been physically delivered to the post office. After I hadn't received the item or any updated tracking after a week I tried contacting him again, several times over the course of the next week. When it hit 2 weeks in preshipment without any returned communication from him I filed a PayPal dispute and got my money back as contacting him obviously wasn't working anymore. At no point did tracking ever state that the post office received the package from him, so yes he outright lied when he told me that he shipped my order

 

I can't say whether or not he did it on purpose, but I've had several numbers track with no updates past "Pre-Shipment" and then all of a sudden show up on my doorstep in 2 days (kind of like Priority) instead of the 5-9 that was expected and it didn't say "Delivered" until 2 days later. Heck, I just received a tracking update for a package I received in late April. April!

 

Yeah, this has happened to me as well, on both receiving and sending.

 

Golly yes, that's a plan. Send this character some of your own money.

That'll learn 'em.

 

Gee willikers, Hoss. I think it'll stick in the craw of a lot of the people complaining here to know he's getting more business.

Then, I'll post my haul and be like "Look, at least part of his business is legit."

And it'll eat 'em up.

As I said before, I've never heard of anyone having an issue with his 3P stuff. It is the custom stuff that people ave trouble with all the time.

 

I think people have been saying this the entire thread. Half of his business (the 3 Party sales) is fine and dandy, the custom half isn't but he continues to advertise new products despite not yet delivering on the older ones people paid for already.

There are people who know him well and he delivers. These people defend him and to their knowledge, he's a stand-up guy.

Then there are the others who have been lied to and are the ones who are being vocal about it as is their right. They are informing future potential customers/victims what to expect.

 

This is not a smear campaign. It is people in the community looking out for each other.

 

Yep. And even if it were, GCI have done enough of their own smear campaigns to warrant the karma.

 

I think TFX and the other fanboys should order two hundred dollars of his custom stuff and see where it gets them in a years time.
