maybe they are trying to get the twi-girls in to see the movie. If I remember ole stretch correctly wasn't he shirtless? That will drag a few of them in there at least right?
I'm more surprised they're actually making a Stretch Armstrong movie. I just can't see that idea supporting a film as well as TFs or GI Joe. And also not surprised to see a "Twilight" actor cast for this; it's the hot thing right now, so they're being cast or considered for damn near everything that might have some crossover with the "Twilight" demographic. Pretty sure there are any number of ways they could alter the colour of his hair, if that's the major sticking point.
Trust a toy collector. Out of all the toy franchises to turn into a movie... Stretch Armstrong is the best they could do? A toy I haven't seen in my country for at least a decade and everyone I know has only memories of them exploding goo all over the place? Heck - I used to disecct mine with a scalpel. I was a twisted child.
They OK a movie about a toyline where a guy can stretch his arms and legs, but they still haven't confirmed/green lighted or even considered making a live action version of Hasbro's third Sunbow cartoon. (And I ain't talking Inhumanoids.) In the words of Doctor Doofenschmirtz, " Oh, come on!"
