Probably not. This version of the film has been talked about (literally) for years.

I'm sorry, but I have to point this out.

The eloquence, the simplicity of this little beautiful poem...it's just fantastic. It fits together so well as a blank verse piece of genius! In all my years of English, I'll never approach this level of poetic mastery. :(

SO I'm curious will this be longer than the combined two or shorter as far as time is concerned?

Well, this should be interesting. They'd have better added some of the deleted material back in though. Seriously, for the wait that Tarrantino made us go through...

I would assume so. If I remember correctly, the article mentions unrated and the Amazon listing reflects NC-17.

    I agree. Fuck HD.

But anyways, from what I've heard so far, it'll basically be the same movies, only no intro for two, different opening cards, and lots more extras.

The NC-17 (which will probably just be unrated by the time it rolls out as dvds don't have to go before the mpaa) if it sticks, is a marketing ploy and the only difference will be the big battle sequence will be returned to color.

At least, that's what I'm hearing...

    Yes.

Seriously, I LOVED Kill Bill, but I held off on buying the original DVDs because Tarantino had talked about this release, and then it just kind of disappeared off the radar. But by then it had already been so long that I just kept waiting on it out of principle, hoping it would eventually see the light of day, even holding out when the original DVDs got pretty cheap. Can't wait to pick this up.

It better have lots of special features. The separate 1&2 releases were really lacking there
