My 5 year old has seen BW and explained the whole concept to his mom saying that Optimus Primal "was an ape though he's supposed to be a truck."

As a reward he got to see MTMTE today and I watched the opening with him.

"Wheeljack is cool because he doesn't have a mouth and his ears glow when he talks."

 

my 7 year old nephew thinks G1 is better than the movies " because Optimus Prime doesn't try to take faces "

My 3 year old son saw soundwave turn into a tape deck and "thats just silly"

After watching my G1 DVD's my 7 year old god son asked "why doesn't some just crush megatron when he turns into a gun?" On beast wars "how does being a giant rat hide you?" and my favoret on Cyberton "why doesn't some one just shoot out the key before they get to plug it in?"

 

Your children are... surprisingly logical. XD

The best I get is "Animated is gay" from my cousins. <.<

My younger brother (When he was 9...Maybe 10) told me his thoughts on Cybertron: "Why are they always talking?"

 

I don't have any young siblings or cousins to brainwash, but I'm keeping an eye out on this thread. I love FatalT's stories about his girl, they're awesome.  

 

My 3 yr. old thinks Soundwave transforms into a box and Ravage is a "doggy". He can actually transform them both.

He refers to Thundercracker as the blue Starscream and Acid Storm as the green Starscream.

He loves to play with classics Bumblebee and play WFC BB on the game.

WHAT is these kid's obsession with Bumblebee anyway?

 

He's young. Yellow. Turns into a cute car. Is friends with the main human protagonists... Same principle goes for Hotshot.




I don't get it either.

 

Last Friday 2 classes of 5/6 year olds came to our art studios for a class trip. When the
2nd group came upstairs their teacher asked "do you see colors, do you see shapes?" one little boy blurted out " I see a Transformer named Ultra Magnus" of course I went right over to him and we talked robot.. apparently his father is a fan   I was surprised how much he, and another little boy knew about G1.. I'd wrongfully assumed kids only knew of or cared for the Bay movies. Either way, a grand time was had by all.. especially me!

My youngest brother like TFs every now and then.... Just the other day he got a Generation Blurr toy. Now I'm trying to sell him on PCC.

 

My two year old who loves cars likes Transformers because so many turn into automobiles, to him Prime is himself when he turns into truck mode but he's just a robot the rest of the time lol!

 

I've got plenty   Every day is something new with my little fangirl!

Stupid Kid that's not Ultra Magnus! just kidding that's a great story, its always great to find a young one who has a classical education beyond the nonsense that's aimed at kids these days.

If I have to watch one more episode of Chowder with my nephew i'm gonna crack!
