So yesterday I decided it was about time I got my arse moving with repainting my Classics Starscream into Skywarp. I spent a couple of hours (whilst I was supposed to be working) stripping the paint and sanding some of him down, then I put him on the table ready to be dis-assembled, had some tea, and went out for the night... When I woke up up this morning as well as a raging hang-over I was greeted with the sight of this on my dining room table... It's not horrible. Most of the paint's alright but a little thick, I still need to sand a lot of it down. I had to use a knife to tidy up the cockpit though, that was a real mess. The real problem was this, I have a habit (a bad one) of washing my brushes in a glass of water, and then putting them in my mouth to bring them to a point. Do you see a glass of water on the table? My lips and tongue were black and purple and I managed to get silver up my nose, not something you really want to be scraping off of your tongue when you're already feeling rough. Thankfully I was only using Games Workshop acrylics, nice and non-toxic. So the moral of the story is, when under the influence, put the paintbrush down and go to bed.
