I've had a Kickback with a broken arm for a while now, and I've been meaning to try something like this. My original intention was to do something like General Grievous' arms, where they'd split down the middle, but halfway through I thought it would be cool to keep the original fore-claws since they were both in good shape. This is what I came up with. Turboedguy did something similar not too long ago.
The new arms all scrachbuilt with interchangeable Microman hands. The hands were light gray and I dyed them with Ritt fabric dye. I then gave them a coat of the paint I used on the arms to make them match. The fist is only dyed, and you can see the slight difference in color. I went with dye for the hands since they are the sort of soft plastic that takes dye very well and paint very badly.
    Thanks for looking.

    And a few WIPs
The material I used on the arms is PVC foamboard. It's a lighter, thicker version of sheet styrene. The gauntlets are regular thin sheet styrene. The axels in the elbows are styrene rods that I melted flat on the ends.

And besides having the insect arm located behind the robot arm, thats different than mine, a great and unique take on it.:thumb

Thanks man! Ours are very different, but I still wanted to give you a shoutout for not doing the mod with the bug arms attached to the robot forearm. I've been looking for my own spin on it for a while now.
My first thought was to actually use a set of Grievous arms, but I didn't have any that fit. If anyone else can make that work , I'd love to see it.

Amazing how something so simple makes a dramatic improvement.

    Thanks guys!
I like it when I can makes the smallest change with the biggest impact. Like just replacing a joint here or there. That's why I left the original claws on there. I had originally planned to replace the entire arms, but I thought it was getting too far away from the original design.
By the way, I didn't realize it myself at first but the bug claws in the front are the ones that were originally in the middle. I used them because they were the ones in good shape. That's why they don't have the wheels on them. I'm considering pulling the wheels off of the hind legs. They don't serve any purpose.
