THe Decepticons have used KFC tech to change autobots into decepticons.

I think it sounds fine... now if there are characters named Pain and Gain and they're wearing bondage gear and have ball gags instead of faceplates, wielding whips, and have stiletto heels instead of ankle supports, then maybe...

Although I wasn't entirely digging on the floppy sides for Ram Horn that Peaugh showed in his recent pre-release video, if KFClub has worked out that particular design quirk then I'm all over these! Loves me some tape minion goodness.

lol, eagle's engineering is great, it's the finish that needs work to fit in with classics/mps. need to see some improvement on that end before i bite

I love the concept, but I think the figure sculpts leave a lot to be desired. A big pass on these guys.

I have both the original versions of these guys, and they are FANTASTIC. The clever design makes for some really thick, bulky, and pretty large cassette characters when compared with the G1 versions. I'd put them conceptually up against any of the other cassettes —*including generations, music label, FOC, masterpiece. I lurve them.

Getting a nicely colored and painted version would keep me from trying to paint the ones I have. I thoroughly welcome these and cannot recommend them enough. (Hoping Eagle is seeing royalties from these?? Else, I'd yank my endorsement quick.)

The figure sculpts were actually pretty good in hand. At least I thought so. Never got to see Steeljaw in person though. It definitely could use some "fit and finish". Paint would go a long way to help this guy out.

Yeah, they're actually pretty darn detailed in person. Surprising detail and texture. I think if they were painted well, they would pop nicely.

And did I mention they're like FOUR times thicker than the cassettes!!??? They fold out in really cool ways. Really creative.

It's not so much the fit and finish, they'd probably turn out okay. The addition of some routed angles into the edges on some of the contours would have been nice to see.

agreed on the angled edges. I think that one thing would take them right over the top.

VERY excited about getting the Steelhaw I missed out on under Eagle's watch.

VERY not cool with this being done without Eagle's permission.

    They're things of beauty though.

If this is true, then I have no interest. Those of us who buy 3rd-party stuff are in the gray area, but I draw the line at blatantly stealing somebody's actual toy design and selling it. From the few email conversations I've had with Eagle in the past, he seems like a nice guy who's put a lot of work into his projects. If it's not true, then I'm glad his designs are actually being finished (would love to see his Kup and Scourge produced as finished products).

It's the same reason I didn't get the Superalloy Wheelie, even though it's a nice-looking toy.

These look neat but will wait for photos of the final (painted) product. As nice as the engineering looks, the molds themselves are a bit bare without any paint or at least some Reprolabels stickers.

I'll be keeping an eye on these...they're definitely rough and could use some mold improvements but even if they turn out exactly like in those pictures they'd still be better than the garbage FoC official ones.
