It's really strange... For me Kingzilla is just slightly better than Kingorilla... It's possible that you have received a bad copy... The backpack can tab securely on his back, you just need to align those hinges down there and give it a big push! The headmaster CAN fit inside the cockpit... You may be doing something wrong. The legs are a bit tricky when you are transforming him into his plane mode, you have to collapse the legs all the way in, extent the torso and move the ape's rear legs out of the way to get some clearance, so that the robot mode legs sit flush against the main body.

 

And the issue with the guns not tabbing.

 

Wasn't planning on getting these, but Dracula was too f'ing cool, and I got bit by the completionist bug. Got a good deal on these from a guy on FB.

They're very different. I think KFC did a good job with 'em, as goofy as they are. Quality-wise, they're great. Still a little shocked at how well apeface balances.

Just picked this guy up, unfortunately his partner in crime was soldout, so I'll have to keep a look out for kingzilla, so if I'm to understand kingzilla comes with an alt head for kingorilla?

 

It does, although only as the legs/robot face, which you'll have to reattach to the original gorilla head that you will get from Kingorilla.

The "shanks/calves" of the legs are the parts that form the part of the actual toon-acccurate face for Apeface, and the thighs, which I gather is what you are asking, appear to be identically black and from the front, but there is a subtle difference between the two that can be determined from the back of the thighs, with mirroring curves, and that is how you would go about determining which thigh goes on which side of the leg as a whole. To your point though, if your friend really as two right thighs, I would think that the two pieces could still function as if it were a left and a right thigh. It just attaches to the main headmaster body on friction joints, so easy peasy.

 

No no, the main body I have 2 right thighs, there's a cut for the inside of the right thigh and the screws face in, but the left side the cut and screw face the outside so they're the same thigh, sucks to have to take this back for an exchange
