I don't like the look of it, I went BC for both Trailbreaker and Hosit.

 

It also might just be the pictures. Personally, I think the two bot mode pics and the gorilla mode look just fine. But about the 'dull' colors; I usually have to do some color editing to the photos I post in here to get the photos to look like the toys do in person.

 

Is it too late to raise hell over Apeface's face? I love the figure but that head is all kinds of wrong....

 

It does indeed, his mouth or whatever you wanna call it, is too narrow and and it goes up too high barely giving his eyes a visored look which is clearly evident in my sig, so it gives his face this kind of squished look, he also doesn't have a nose. He looks like he'll be back heavy though and if his knees are anything like their Blizwing's......oh boy! Other than that he looks amazing, the jet is awesome and the ape actually looks like one, it's almost like the robot which looks good for the most part, is the compromise here which usually isn't the case with triple changers!

Unfortunately, I'll be passing this...the outfit it's from, he's purple instead of the Sunbow accurate pink, the face is off as mentioned earlier and there is a funny head to torso proportion I'm not liking!

These photos don't really make me want to buy this weird Spaceship Gorilla Robot thing, but it sure makes me want a proper Transformers game with some G1 love.  

Apeface would be the ultimate on-line gamer troll go to character.

I died in a little inside typing that out but I'm sure some people can appreciate his complete nonsensical nature.

I'm surprised the arms don't collapse down at all in jet mode. Looks a bit weird. Other than that, not too shabby.

 

that's looking good , shame about the head sculpt but if I bought this it would live in ape mode on my display so the robot head would never be on display anyway

 

I am glad that I don't care too much about the head sculpt of a transformer... For me looks ok...

Love the landing gear... The spacecraft mode is amazing!

I hope the hinges in the elbow of the robot mode can support the weight of his forearms + guns... Other than that I love this figure

All HEADMASTERS Were generally leader sized bots, put your starscream next to prime or soundwave or Megatron for reference.

In apeface's defense, he's not too much taller, where he dwarfs howling meteor is sheer bulk and width

 

That doesn't seem to be to dificult to achive! Maybe they will release a new head for Kingorilla with Snapdragon.
