Being probably the most non-local guy, I tend to lean towards the easy-to-find/easy-to-park place, but if someone gives me good directions I can make it work.

Or, if someone lives somewhere on the route from Nashville, taking 65, up to the blue grass pkwy, in towards Lexington, if I could park at your place and carpool the rest of the way in that'd be super awesome.

Rob, I would be more than happy to help you out but I live north of Lexington. If you have access to a GPS that would help out a lot. Probably the best purchase I've made in a long time. I use it all the time.

 

Nah, no GPS that I can borrow currently. I'm good with directions though.

Well, if you are coming in from the Parkway, you'll be hitting Lexington from Versailles Rd. The better store actually would be easier for you to find. The "easy" store is closer to I64/I75. You're coming in from the other side.

I guess that decides it then. I'll call A+ Comics tomorrow and make sure they don't have a problem with us hanging out there for a couple of hours.

And it'd probably more than a couple hours. I'd say the better part of a day. I don't think we ever nailed down an exact time, but part of that would depend on their hours. I think something like 10am - 4pm would be good.

I believe there is (or was, don't know if it's still there) a Chinese restaurant next to the strip mall A+ is in, I don't know how cool they'd be with people parking there that's not patrons. I'm sure it probably happens all the time, though.

 

Shit, I can fix that. I can eat chinese food all damn day. I know nothing about this place, and I'd already much rather eat lunch and/or supper there than get pizza.

 

Careful! There's almost no Chinese buffets I will eat at anymore. Not since I long ago noticed the identical tables, etched glass, and food at retauraunts ranging all over the damn country. I now refuse to eat Chinese from such places, and give my patronage to better-chosen places with fresher, better food. It's totally worth the effort.

 

We're off topic now, but what makes it worth the effort? I have a very undiscerning pallet, and I'm glad for it - makes it so I'm not the picky guy when trying to find a restaurant hehe. I've never gotten sick or anything like that from chinese buffets. The worst thing is usually I just get sleepy from eating too much  

 

There is a large parking lot out back behind A+ comics. It is used by the office building behind the Shell. Should be good to park in. I can in no way guarantee that, but it should be good.

And I was thinking more around noon for meeting up. Since some people have drive a couple hours or more. But 10 is fine if that's what everybody wants.

 

Noon would work better for me, but some wanted even earlier, so sounded like 10 was a nice compromise.

Also - you didn't mention what A+ Comics said! if it's as simple as calling them, do you not have a lunch break or something? Or have someone else call?
