I saw this listing on the Transbots Taobao site. No picture yet, but it seems to confirm there will be a black Badbat.

Okay, so in March companies started listing preorders for a Limited Edition gold or silver Radar Badbat that came with a black version of the toy as a bonus for $40. There was some confusion at first, when people thought you only got one Badbat for $40. These Limited Editions were 500 each, so there are 1000 black Badbats...





A survey was held for naming the black recolor of Batbat, and the name Fledermaus was the winner.

Two hours later... Wait, wait, wait, are these all black??? Yeah preordered cancelled. And I was willing to pay the price too.

I do like Ratbat's colours though.

It was less than $40 for the two packs, why should this one lone cassette cost more?

 

Man that price is just cuz so many people want a badbat. If should be $20 like the rest of their cassettes

 

Now, There is no way these new Black BadBats or worth $40. ea. plus shipping? I am passing big time on these and can't understand why they cost so much?

CST-07 BADBAT GOLD RADAR
The first of two new versions of Badbat, this one changes from black bat to cassette and has what we assume are gold ears. It is priced at $39.99.

 

There's this rumour going about a particular online store...

 

I'm not giving them $40 for one tape, screw their price gouging. I'll live without rather than play that BS game.

 

Yeah, I'm pretty appalled by the doubling of price for these. It's pretty bogus and seems like a bit of a middle finger to people, like me, who have been waiting to get this guy without resorting to buying Keith's dumbass Soundwave.

Although if this was priced more in line with their other products there might have been. A single cassette is more around the $20 mark. Maybe this is some sort of exclusive?

 

this should be cheaper than the rest of the cassettes cause they didn't use any paint........what a joke.

 

I emailed Keith asking him if these are a BBTS exclusive, and have not heard back yet. Hopefully other people will carry it cheaper. The price might be BBTS fault though, if they are an exclusive to them.
