For Beastwars, Armada, Energon and Cybertron... is it worth it to keep the box?

Right now, it's just taking a lot of space, and I doubt that the value of those series will go up just because I still have the box...

    Thoughts?

I'm no expert, but I doubt the boxes for the latter lines would raise the price too much just yet. Now Beast Wars is another story...granted it depends on the toy, but I'd think there's definitely a market for boxed toys that are around 10 years old.

I guess it's just one of those things, where almost anything over 20 years would be preferred with the box...?

Never keep the box. It's a waste of space.

The boxes take up too much space, if I want the box, I'll buy two and keep one MISB and open the other and throw the box away. But in most cases, I just buy one, toss the box, but keep some cut outs from it, like specs, the back card, etc.

I guess people like me will eventually make the value of boxes go up, but it takes up too much space and prevents me from enjoying the hobby due to all the clutter! I dont have enough room to store and display all the toys, let alone the boxes too!

I keep everything. Boxes are also cool. Neat to see how they progress. plus if you ever deceid to put everything in storege bins, you wont have to chuch them all in a big box to get all scratched and scuffed.

I keep the cards and smaller boxes. I like looking at them to see the art work and or bio write up. I break them down and they go into a bid.

Keep them if you have the room. You'll never know if you'll need them or not.

I keep all mine incase I turn into a MIB displayer.
To me, the art on them brings back alot of memories as much as the toys do.
    I love the boxart

They'll also be worth a little more if you sell them later mib instead of loose.

Some keep them and flatten them, some just keep the bio parts, some just keep the cards and toss the bubbles. Whatever suits you best Is all that matters really.

I keep all my cards and boxes. The bigger Leader classes I just got I trimmed the boxes down to keep the majority of the artwork and the bio's.

Just neat to have since I saw a lot of the cartoons.

I always keep the packaging my TFs come with; it's something my dad got me doing when I was a kid. It takes up more space, granted, but it keeps the toys clean and safe.
Plus it looks bloody impressive when I find the room to lay them all out.

I keep the packaging for everything. Though as of late I have been considering getting rid of all the card bubbles.

I have all the boxed Cybertron figures in my closet MIB on display along with all my BT/BTA and Alts, all MIB as well. It looks damm impressive.

But again its a mute point if you don't have the room to display them properly.

I agree. I will never toss out the vintage boxes. Pure love.

I cut out the artwork and bios, toss the rest. Except in a few cases. For example, I kept the TRU Energon Prime/ Megatron box, and all the artwork/ comics/ bios from that series are in that box. I have a TRU Starscream/ Vector Prime box doing the same for Cybertron paraphenalia. My Alts and BTs are all MIB, because it's a handy way to display them (they stack so nicely!). A couple other boxes here and there (JRX Giftset, Predaking reissue, Brave Max), but certainly not every toy that comes my way.

I keep almost all of the TFs that I buy MISB sealed in the box, though, I have kept the boxes from the handful of them that I have opened. Opening everything and also keeping all of those boxes would take up too much space, at least in my situation (I only have one room and one closet that I can devote to toys).

I keep most of the boxes but mainly for protection and transporting. The only boxes I keep carefully are the Japanese ones. They always have nice art work and design.
