If you had to choose, which would you keep?

    G1 Original
Stickers are fading, peeling or missing
Plastic has a little bit of discoloration
    Joints are a loose
Being over 20 years old, it's showing...

    or

    MISB Reissue?

For me, I would go for the MISB reissue but I still have some sentimental value for my original G1 stuff...irregardless of their condition.

Depends on if the reissue has any mold alterations.

I'll fix up the old ones if I can, otherwise it's shiny new for me please.

I actually love refurbishing beat up old bots so they look new again, but sometimes there's just nothing you can do.

I'd rather have a worn original than a new reissue. In my mind, they are not interchangeable. Get some reprolabels!

of course, i would rather keep the original then the reissue, unless the original is a junker, but, then again i keep all my transformers i buy, even the junkers.so the easy answer is, BOTH, like said before.

If the original was in as rough shape as it sounds like it would be, then i'd take the reissue. I've done it with a couple of my childhood damaged TFs.

like everyone has said it depends. if its an original of my collection (the same toy that was bought for me as a kid or as a gift from a friend) keep it. If its something u got off ebay, i'd get rid of it and go for the reissue

I perfer Reissue. But then again, I wasnt around to own any vintage stuff when I was little, so I guess I just like owning newer versions of some of the figures. But with BWs, I perfer the original over the 10th annaversary versions. Probally for the same reasons listed above.

I look for orginals..But I'll buy reissues and keep the MISB.
I also look for G1's that wont get a reissue MIB. So I'll have some type of complete collection one day..

If the original were mine from my childhood, I'd keep it. Otherwise I'd go with the reissue.

I'd go with both, that's what I usually try to do!
    I prefer originals though!

In your case I'd go with the reissue. The only time I'd stay with an original would be if it held up near perfectly for all these years. There's nothing like opening up a fresh, new reissue of a 20+ year old toy.

If you already have both, I'd keep em both.

If I were picking either up ... I'd say whichever the price was right!
