    i use both...torrents for fansubs and newsgroups for "stuff"

    There will always be a succesor.

    First there was Napster. It showed you could share MP3's. Then Kazaa, which showed you could share MP3's, movies, text files, etc. Then there was Bit Torrent, which showed you could download ANYTHING.

    Of course, IRC and Newsgroups were around before any of that, but the point is that when one falls, another takes it's place.

    God I love the Internet.
