MY YOUTUBE VIDEO: TRANSFORMERS DARK OF THE MOON: CUSTOM SENTINEL PRIME - YouTube

I hate having to relist, I know it makes people think it was some kind of sham or something. I am done dealing with low feedback bidders. ALL my listings from now on are set with all the restrictions EBAY will let a seller put on them. I hate to do that to low feedback bidders as i was one at one time too, but too many people pulling crap these days.

So after seeing a few Sentinels, I decided to do one myself with a unique take on him. He's got a beautiful metallic Kandy Red paintjob with lot's of battle wear detailing, The sword and shield have been painted with Alclad II chrome and though they have battle damage they still give a good reflection! Lot's of work been done to this guy. Lots of little detailing throughout the whole figure. Due to the heavy modifications to the chest and back he is non transforming. Robot mode only!

Custom color mix for glowing eyes
Custom mechanical pieces added on side legs
    Ball joint Head
Ball joint hands with individual articulated fingers (courtesy of fakebusker)
    Custom forearm missle
Hydraulic hoses added on shoulder, abs, lower back
Custom rebuilt Back kibble with balljoint flaps for increased posabilty
    Scratch built chest windows
Custom rebuilt chest for more movie accurate look
improved stability with custom heel spikes

thank you, i realize he's a bit darker than the movie, but when you see the kandy red paint job, it looks freaking awesome (IMHO) ;)

looks pretty good man, although I will say I am not a big fan of your silver dry brishing around the edges of his panels... It's supposed to make it look weathered but it actually looks like paint streaks. My suggestion would be to have less paint on your brush next time and apply it sparingly. all in all pretty good though (better than the awkward pink color he normally is).

Did you cut off the part where the LED was inside of the head to put the ball joint on?

yes, I didn't care for the yellow LED's and wanted to have him with that glowing eye's effect all the time, not just when the LED's are lit up!

if you look at photo stills of him you'll see that it looks like paint scraps like you'd have on a car with silver streaks revealed which is wat I was going for.

Thanks! I'm working on a Sentinel custom and have a ball joint that works, but I didn't know how it would work without cutting the LED base off.

No Problem man, there is a way you can do the balljoint and just cut a slight hole or slit in his head to put the LED and wiring through.

    This is certainly nice work!

However, Customs isn't an eBay forum. We have a Transformers on eBay forum, so feel free to bump that thread how you like. For customs, if someone has discussion, feel free to respond. If you have project updates, feel free to post them! Otherwise, there is no need to bump project threads.

no problem, but I didn't think I was bumping this forum. Merely responding to questions and posting update status. I have it listed on the ebay forum.
