Kabaya Fortress Maximus to Include God Sword
makes sense, given that it's on the kabaya toy's box art.
Nice. I'm pretty stoked on this set. I better not get screwed with my case.
That thing just keeps getting more awesome.
Well, I definitely like what I'm seeing now, that's for sure!
I have to be honest and say I don't much give a shit about the Master Sword. That's not the version of Fort Max I care about. I'll be buying the Kabaya kits, but I'll be leaving the sword on the runner.
I'm really curious about how tall this is gonna be. If it ends up at the higher end of Voyager size, I would be ecstatic, and probably would start working on how to add more articulation.
For a Kabaya kit? I don't see that happening, to be honest. But who knows; maybe we'll get lucky.
Agreed. Can't wait to have it in hand.
Hopefully it'll be at least as tall as a deluxe.I'm wondering though, does it actually transform into the base and shoip modes? All we've seen are the sperate sets and the combined robot mode.
^this. It's freaking Fortress Maximus, for god's sake!
Do not underestimate the size of a Candy Toy model kit. This time each box is more expensive compared to the regular series.
If you collect Bandai Super Sentai Candy Toy model kits, you will know that a fully combined regular mecha is approximately the size of a Deluxe class figure, and 2 or more mechas combined together can even be as big as a Leader class figure.
But I am guessing the Kabaya Fortress Maximus will only be slightly bigger than a Deluxe class figure.
Great news, glad that it come with the big sword
It will probably be mostly a partsFormer, like most Kabaya kits, with minimal transforming going on. But I'm sure ship and base modes will be represented.
I don't even know if a large amount of partsforming will even be needed. For all his size, Fort Max doesn't have a very complex transformation.
Yes, the transformation is very simple - it looks like the main tower split is present, the robot mode image even shows the leg movement is in there. First impressions, all the parts are present and correct - it should be infinitely possible to do a "perfect transform" Kabaya Fort Max based on what is shown here.
Pre-ordered without having to pay yet from amiami!
So this is a full sized rerelease of G1 Fortress Maximus, sold in three or so separate sets? Or is it something else?
Nope, this is a so called mini version of Fortress Maximus whereby it is under the Kabaya series.
Separate names with a comma.
