I'd rather have a more Animetion accurate better proportioned cannon for his arm, but this is nice too.

...Seriously what is up with that cannon, it has this circle at the connection point that is completly usless and axtends the cannon away from his arm.

is that a real question? If it is, I'll give you a good answer. Its called a pass-through scope mount. lots of people buy scope rings (mount) that utilize the pass-through style so that you still have the ability and the option to use the "iron sights" that are a part of the gun, be it pistol or rifle. Iron sights are a single piece that sticks straight up located at the end of the barrel, and a notched piece that would be located towards the back of the magazine, or near the hammer if the particular gun model has an external hammer.

I'll hold my judgement until I see pics of the final product.

Some diecast at the base of the stock may help stability when it's combined into a stand alone gun, but other than that i'm not sure what use it would be.

OH god yes!!!!!!!!!!!! They will definitely be getting my money:D  They made a perfect Transformer even more perfect!!!!!!!!! Personally I hope the diecast will be minimal. I agree with godsenddeath, maybe a bit in the base to stabilize the turret mode, but otherwise it's completely unneccesary. Hope they release WSTF Sludge and Swoop soon too...

Yeah, everyone should take note that their MP-01 trailer was advertised before it was released as having die cast parts, and it had very, very little diecast in it. Basically just enough for them to justify saying it was there. I imagine this will be the same thing.

Very nice, assuming it doesn't cost a bomb I'd probably be interested.

I'm glad it's these guys who are doing this. If the dinos are any indication, this won't be an unreasonable cost.

I sure hope so, I can't really see myself spending anymore than $40 or $50 for this thing.

it won't be. cause then you'd be approaching the cost of the MP itself which would make no sense.

    I'm almost certainly sold.

That would be stellar. Absolutely stellar. So good, in fact, that I can't believe it'll happen. Especially since it would drive up the cost, and most fans will settle for the pieces just serving the same role as they did with the original toy.

But yeah, if one or both of the smaller connector pieces could split in half and connect reasonably well to the legs, that would blow my mind.
