Okay, H...gonna get worried about all this Raylan love. I kid. Just finished watching seasons 1 & 2...so now I'm caught up...and YEP, Raylan may have just taken all my TF time away to watch him...over and over and over. They had some good deleted scenes and outtakes too. At least I see men with boots and hats around here all the time....but Raylan wears them both very well.....wow.
Timothy Olyphant <3. Back off. Anyway, last night's episode has made the season much more interesting. Look forward seeing what Quarles does. I think he's my favorite villain. Boyd doesn't count.
I totally agree with you here. Season 3 is my favorite so far, and I really like 1 and 2. I really am most intrigued by all of the different mobs and their dealings. I enjoy the interplay of their dealings and how one thing affects another. I think next week's episode is gonna rock judging from the preview.
Dang!! You just haz to sharz him!! Anyway, yeah, I love McDonough (?) he's always been great whatever he's been in..funny, dramatic,.intense whatever. You just know he and Raylan AND Boyd are destined for a 3 way--the deadly kind!!
Well, they started the 3 way fued last night, bringing the trouble to both Raylan and Boyd's front doors. (Actually this thing is bringing in everybody, not just the 3) Looks like 'Blondie' was giving them both a tough time, I loved Raylan's description of Quarles, won't put it here until others have seen the ep...had me rotflol. Tensions are heating up for everybody. Yikes.
Spoiler I really hope next week's episode is a lot better. There are some cool one-liners in this one, but the episode has a lot of weaksauce in it. Rayland being framed just seemed contrived and weak. I was expecting it to at least play out for a few episodes. I'm pretty disappointed, and that's a first from me from this show.
I can understand why you say that, this ep, while I enjoyed it, wasn't the bust'em up shoot'em up fun ride we've seen in the past. Guess they all can't be . Just hoping that they have a big, gangbusting episode planned for Raylan and Boyd...you know they have to take out Quarles...and Limehouse better watch where he steps too..
My wife even felt the same way I did. The episode just felt like padding and filler material. There are only a few things in the episode that moves the story along. Hopefully this will be the only one like this in the near future.
Yep, this one spins and spins like my avy On another note...they announced they're renewed for Season 4.
"Loose Ends" Well...there were one or two that were tied up-- just a little messy, but then that's Justified style. A little more action and some laughs too. Errol will be getting another burned hand from Limehouse--or worse, Ava will be taking a few chicks under her wing now, she'll clean those girls up, I hope.... and the sheriff is probably out of the running now thanks to Boyd.....you gotta love Boyd..he is a great character! And as if you need a preview to tell ya..of course, the face off is coming for Raylan and Quarles....and Raylan is trying to keep Dickie Bennet in prison too...hope it's an action filled ep, as we only have a couple of eps left for the season.
Yeah, this week's episode was a bit better than last week's . . . but it still felt a little like padded filler to me. NEXT week is the episode I'm thinking that's gonna rock. I think Quarles is a fantastic villain, and I hope he'll be around for quite a while. Limehouse as well. I think this show is doing an EXCELLENT job building these two up, as well as fleshing out their characters (Quarles mocking Limehouse was pure gold!).
Last night's episode was fantastic. Maybe the best of the season's. It's a shame we only have three episodes left.
ARGH! My DVR didn't record it again, and I don't see a scheduled repeat! They generally wait about a week for it to be on the Entertainment On Demand channel. *shakes fist*
So sowwrries quaddy... my provider has it on FX OD the next day. I looked at the FX site and it doesn't look like they have it either. Thankfully I have Justified set up for a series recording..and so far my DVR hasn't let me down, unless it's a power outage. As for a repeat they'll show it again..AFTER they show the next new episode twice. 'Guy walks into a Bar' Was glad to finally hear the background story for Quarles...makes me almost feel sorry for him..almost. McDonough is great at being creepy. It's obvious now that Raylan doesn't like to or want to make speeches. And so..Dickie's out of prison....for a while anyway...and Limehouse is going to make life..difficult for Dickie, I'm sure. Elections in Harlan Co. are very interesting...and thanks to Boyd, he got his man elected. Glad to see "Bobby" from Supernatural found a home, at least for a little while..folks don't tend to live to a ripe old age in Harlan.
