I'm a fan of the JLA comic so it should be enjoyable for me.

Looks awesome. Too bad parents are already complaining, who don't know the comic book history of Green lantern, about why DC turned Green lantern into a white man.

Well, I've been a Raynor fan myself...

But it all boils down to ignorance. There are parents pissed that GL isn't black like he was in the Justice League cartoon (where he, arguably, got the most exposure compared to previous Green Lantern incarnations)

Kinda like when people raised hell when Jason Todd Robin was killed, as most thought it was Dick Grayson who was killed (since, y'know, comics don't change after 20 years or anything)

    Seriously? Oy.

Don't any of these parents remember the Super Friends?

Then you should know it's Rayner. :p

Wait, people are complaining that they switched back to Hal as the green lantern? Wtf. I never really had a problem with stewart, but I'd rather see black superheroes be their own characters(and not that crap on the WB a few years back with that kid who had static electricity powers and flew around the ghetto on trashcan lids, wtf). I also greatly detest marvel's ultimate nick fury simply because they only did it to try and meet their politically correct quota for characters(entirely separate discussion).

But yea, I'd rather see Kyle as GL again, or at least someone else other than Hal. Hal has no finesse, no imagination. I remember one of the first comics I saw kyle as GL in it, he needed to hit some badguy, so he thought up a giant passenger train with "SLAMTRAK" written on the side. In one panel that was so much better than Hal.

    How about Alan Scott? :)

(I'm hoping for at least a cameo of the Golden Age heroes in this DVD since they did do a page cameo of the Justice Society and the rest of the Golden age heroes in the comic).

wrong, at least "I "want Hal....some nuts somewhere out there are complaining about it. because he isn't black(...me thinks is just people have no freaking clue how the story shaped up originally and that this is Hal Jordan and not John Stewart)

Not a fan of the old-school approach, graphic novel or no. The Superman: Doomdsay sucked bad, and given how much a fan I am of the old JLU cartoon, I highly doubt I'll watch anything more than this trailer.

It wasn't bad, honestly they probably shouldn't have connected it so much with "The Death and Return of Superman" comic arc, there was no way they could fit that much story in the 75 minutes they were alotted to make the feature.

I liked it for what it was.
