So I sat down and watched this last night. I really dug the voice actors, except Batman. I'm a fan of Jeremy Sisto as an actor, but doing the voice for Bats was kinda...meh. I did like the animation quite a lot. The story was fantastic. Taking place during the late 50's/1960, and some hero's are "retired" because of McCarthyism. Really dug the take on Martian Manhunter. I was a little disappointed that Hal was so prominent in the flick, but only became Green Lantern in the last 5 minutes. Anyway, this one's definitely worth a watch.
I await this but Batman's voice should always and forever will be in my mind that of the Bruce Timm series of cartoons.
If they wanted to use someone other than Kevin Conroy or Rino Romano, they should have used Ron Perlman. He was great in the Justice League Heroes game.
Yeah I "Picked" up my copy yesterday, and I'll watch it tonight. It's Justice League and the DC cartoons of JL have not disappointed, so I will buy it when it comes out.
I believe it comes out next Tuesday the 28th. It looks good from all I've heard so far, but yeah, Kevin Conroy will always be Batman.
I never read the original. So I went into this prebiased. The VA's are great. The only wierd one was, of course Batman's. However, the scene with Batman's new look was great. Probably the best voices are Lucy Lawles' Wonder Woman and NPH's Flash. Though it was great to hear Kyra Sedwick without that crappy accent. I liked the ending a lot. We see so many heroes and villains, hell we see The Metal Men and Doom Patrol! Though I really liked how Star Sapphire was close up when they panned to all the villains. Over all, it was better then Death of Superman. Here's hoping for Kingdom Come, Year One, Long Halloween, Hush, and Dark Knight Returns.
Guys, I think we got this extremely early. It's not supposed to be out until Feb 26th. Here is a link. It's for the BluRay version, but the DVDs have the same date. http://www.amazon.com/Justice-Leagu...ef=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1201279242&sr=1-7
So, am I to assume, torrentially speaking, that this is out there somewhere? (Note: not asking where, mind.)
