Do we know who's playing Ra's Al Ghul? I notice he's focal to this story, but his credit is conspicuously absent from IMDB.
So, either this is a shameless plug to the NEW DC based on the characters selected or Duffy was just being a pro-race fanboy. Either way, with the inclusion of Cyborg and the removal of al Ghul means i'm going to skip this.
Hmm. I just saw the trailer on Page 1 of this thread, and it looks like Vandal Savage is playing the role that Ra's Al Ghul did in the book. I'm actually okay with this, but I wonder why they switched out one immortal megalomaniac for another immortal megalomaniac.
Eh, Green Lantern kind of left a bad taste in my mouth with Warners and their live action superheroes (again, minus Batman) but Bruce Timm and Co. have been consistent IMO. And I've yet to see a Superman Returns or Green Lantern scale disappointment in these movies.
I know... the Warners will ruin that one too since Christopher Nolan left. He got sick of trying to rationalize with them over the story so he and David Goyer left. Not good signs.
Not sure if I'll pick this up when it's first released, but it's definitely something I plan to watch eventually. The animation looks good, and the voice-work seems pretty good. I'm mostly looking forward to Bane's part in this. Hopefully Carlos Alazraqui does a good job voicing him. It is true that he left the production of Man of Steel, but he left so he could concentrate on TDKR. From what I've read, they're still using the apparently amazing idea he came up with, so his influence over the movie will still be had. Personally I'm not all that worried, they've still got a great cast to work with, and while I'm not a fan of most of his work, I think Snyder has potential.
My friend, I truly hope you're right and I'm wrong. If anybody would appreciate a decent Superman movie on the big screen, it would be me. And, hopefully, the studio learned their lesson from their last blunder. Only time will tell.
The Home Video Release Will be a 2 Disc for DVD and Blu Ray Combo. The World's Finest Alazraqui had somewhat having a funtime voicing a Character to fight Batman witha Headstone.
Ah, good ol Conroy Batman. The best Batman ever. But it'll be sad without Hamil. Who'd be the funny villain? I also hope for more villains. I want Harley. I'll defiantly catch this. Since Marvel's throwing more stupid Spider-Man cartoons, I can have time to watch this.
I think they have. Even though Nolan dropped out of the project, everything I've read about it has said that his ideas and influence for the short time that he was involved is still being used. That alone makes me confident that this'll be good. We'll just have to wait and see, but I'll be surprised if it isn't a great improvement (that said, I'm one of the few that like Returns, though I do see why most don't). I'll probably get hounded for this, but if I get it at all, it'll be a DVD only version...
Eh, I'm afraid so. Hell, my love for Spider-Woman is now turning into a love for Harley Quinn. But Marvel will always be my favorite comic company. Just not when it comes to TV shows or movies.
The whodi what now? If its with Poison Ivy, I'm dropping my like for Harley. I don't like plant people.
Now your hiding something. What comic do I have to read now? But I can't hate Harley. She's just so.... cute. But Ivy, I can dislike her.
