I more or less gave up on collecting as of late, with the end of the movie line and the FE business I had cooled on the whole thing. I went to K-mart today and was pleasantly surprised to see they had received the RID line and Bot Shots. I saw they had a Wheeljack and really liked the look of the alt mode so I thought what the hell. I had been turned off by the drop in quality overall in recent years but I was very pleasantly surprised to find that he is an amazing figure that puts my fears to rest that the toys are on the down trend. His alt mode and bot mode are both beautiful and the way that it all folds together is fantastic. Overall I am really pleased and will probably have to at least pick up Cliffy as well.

I went through a couple months of RotF without buying a single toy and never claimed to have "quit" the hobby.

I've noticed that people who get worked up about the dotm and prime fe stuff seem to enjoy transformers again after they take some time to cool off. Maybe thats what happened for you too.

^ i dunno about that, that's more of a weak-willed thing. It's more like when you're dating someone who pisses you off. You fight, you think its over-but the love goes on.

Certainly, don't let the detractors make up your mind for you. Yeah, he's not as ingenious as his FE version, and cheats a lot, but he's still a fantastic figure in his own rights, with his own unique transformation, and solid build, with as much articulation as you could ask for.
