Just what is this thing?

    I got this little figure with a lot of transformer parts. It says "Takara 1984" on its back. Its body is Die Cast. I have no Idea what it is Thought maybe someone who knows Vintage Takara products might. Its got ports all over its arms and legs if that helps

    These are RoboLink warriors sold under the Robotech brand here in the US. Each set had several of these figures as well as some other parts to form vehicles. It's like lego if each brick was a robot.

    wow, looking at the product, Its no wonder it never caught on. Looks Like it could come apart just by touching it.

    I had a couple of these as a kid. I remember them being mildly intriguing, but clearly not enough so to stick in my brain (I didn't remember them until I saw your posted image). I think I pretended they were Reflector, since I never had the actual Reflector as a kid. As little identical-but-for-the-chest-plate mini-robots, they actually made for a pretty great Reflector to my kid brain. :)
