Ooooooh boy, was it BAD. Not even "so bad it's good" bad, though it did have a few of those moments. There were a LOT of clichés in it as well. Random lesbian kiss scene that's doesn't even make any sense, and which was cut VERY awkardly. The robots were, of course, aliens, but they ripped off the new Cylons as well...Oh, and the hero naturally has a random "shocking" plot twist that'll have you go "Alright, that's just stupid". It's like the scriptwriters didn't even try. The CGI was also HORRIBLE. Think Voltron the Third Dimension, but worse. Special effects were ridicolous: They only bothered every once in a while to add laser effects. But what was even WORSE were the sound effects. 80% of the time, THERE WEREN'T ANY LASER SOUNDS, OR SOUNDS OF EXPLOSIONS. VERY sloppy, even for a B-Movie. Oh, and the acting was nothing special. Occassionally it was tolerable, but most of the time it was just awkward. Now as for things they ripped off: -Transformers: Transformations, alien robots, enemy base bot, the opening title -Battlestar Galactica: Robots are organic -Blade Runner: Androids -Matrix: Humans living in one last city, a counsil that's at conflict with the military side, the beginning -Terminator: Robots opressing and terminating humans' One final thing: Ontop of being HORRIBLE, this movie is BORING. There were three action sequences (which were yawn-inducing), and for the rest it was just TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK with the worst and most cliché dialogue imaginable. It's a good thing I played it with Realplayer, so that I could pass time with visiting a few boards. Score: I'll be generous and give it 2/10, but just because the base bot was kinda cool.
