I absolutely loved it. One of the best movies of the year along with Inception. It took all my willpower not to cry at the end. Possibly the best Pixar movie yet, though Wall-E might still beat it out in my book.
Toy Story 3 beat out Twilight. Pretty awesome. In Pictures: Summer 2010's Box-Office Winners - - Forbes.com
YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! Those damn Sparkly Vampires fail in comparison to the glory of Mr.Pricklepants.
I thought How To Tame Your Dragon was way better than Toy Story 3. There, I said it. I'm sick of everyone saying how awesome this movie is.
Get the f*ck out of this thread! NOW!!!! But seriously, take that you sparkly abominations! Get me my silver bullets and wooden stakes!
To $1 Billion and Beyond Well, as of yesterday, Toy Story 3 has made at least $997 million dollars. It's very safe to say it will pass the $1 billion mark this weekend. "We are truly witnessing history being made." Toy Story 3 is right now the highest grossing animated film of all time, and it would take something absolutely huge to beat this now. It is the 7th highest grossing film of all time, and is set to pass The Dark Knight and Alice in Wonderland this coming week to be #5 worldwide. With that, it will become the highest grossing film of 2010. Disney is now the only company in the world to have two billion dollar movies in the same year. Though I really think Alice in Wonderland didn't deserve all that money. Box Office Buzz: To $1 Billion and Beyond! - Upcoming Pixar Let's have a round of applause, folks. For Lee Unkrich, John Lasseter, Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and all the fantastic cast, crew, animators, marketers, and such who gave us such a wonderful film. Blitz Wing, whether you're being sarcastic or not, I think Dragon was a great film, but not as good as Toy Story 3. Your comment sounds a bit trollish. But if you were just kidding, I deeply apologize.
I'm extremely happy that moviegoers around the world are recognizing just how superb this movie is. That said, I'm a little confused at America's own taste, as Shrek 2 made more money in the U.S. Still, let's hope this spectacular movie is rightfully honored at the Oscars.
WOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!! Welcome to the Billion dollar mark. Toy Story 3: The Avatar of Animated films. This movie deserve atleast more than 1 Oscar Nomination.
With Toy Story 3 making that much money, I am happy, yet scared. Scared because, if disney goes back to milk the cash cow, making a Toy Story 4...I will be upset over that they ended 3 right where it needed to end.
Oscar season - Toys Are Back in Town! http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/06/movies/06oscar.html?_r=1&hpw Folks, this movie deserves this nomination and award. Watch out, Inception, Social Network, and everything else... The toys are back in town...
