Must of been at a car show this weekend. The driver was all dressed up in police uniform. He pulled out of the shopping center with some authority too.

Wendy's on Liberia Ave. Manassas, Virginia @ 8:32pm

Wouldn't be funny if the Driver randomly grabbed someone, threw in the hood of the car and screamed "ARE YOU USERMAN LADIESMAN217?"

State laws vary on the rules of those vehicles. Some states require you to cover the lightbars, some don't allow you to drive, it all depends.

Hopefully an actual cop bought the car, and uses it from time to time for work.

As far as I know, the deco itself is street legal, but without a special permit it can't have flashing lights like a cop car.

IDk if it's in Virginia, but there's a guy on one of the non-TF boards I go on who's an active-duty police officer who built a Barricade replica. He doesn't use it for work (nowhere to put someone who's been arrested), but he has pulled over a few people with it for speeding and other traffic violations while going to/from car shows and the like.

For some states it's only that the lightbar (if not covered) can't be red and blue colored.

I've even heard that so long as you can't turn on the light bar without getting out of the car (IE switch for them is in the trunk) such that the light bar is just white (without lights on) it's ok.

I've also heard that you may have to remove/cover anything that says "police" but having the call 911 is ok (as that's just general advice).
