    some further things of note:

the 2 'boss' type ships (the black ones that make up the main body) are diecast and give the robot a great feel

lol, just noticed how it says 'transforms' into 14 ships on the front of the box

from what I've read this kronoform (vs. diaclone vs. diakron) version came with 2 (chrome chested) drivers and 3 missles, so this is 100% complete with an extra driver (the non-chrome chested)

the catapult and missile launchers still fire

I like this box art best of this guy's releases. Whoo hoo!

"Diaclone, Diakron, Dorvalk, Kronoform, Microman, knockoffs....there were many names, many companies involved with producing the ancestors to the transformers."

Unless I'm not correct that was made by a different branch of Takara probably shipped to a different country then the one Paradigm-Shift Prime got. or it could be a KO.

I know the answer to that!

Takara released its diaclone products very briefly in the USA/North America just before transformers came out under 2, yes TWO names: Kronoform & Diakron. Supposedly Kronoform came first and then Diakron but it all happened in a short period of time (83-early 84), I've also heard they came out pretty much at the same time.

Here's a decent starting point for looking into it:

nice gats blocker, wow, these really shot up in value...i remember nobody used to bid on the diakron/kronoform non-transformer-ancestor stuff. i was just watching auctions for a kronoform warudaros and battle buffalo sold for much much more than i thought.

did you figure out what those little black round pegs are for? i have 4 of these guys and cant figure out what those things are, lol.

Awesome man, Multiforce rules! And you got a good deal on them.

Still looking for a set myself. Had that thing back in the day before I had any Transformers.

I know this is a old post but I can't figure out what the black pegs are for either lol. Maybe to add some of these parts to the bigger diaclone base
