Visiting Universal City Walk and nabbed me an Evac. $22... but this is collector's territory. Definitely one of the better figures I've seen. I also nabbed me a 1989 1:18 scale batmobille for my 1:18 ccollection. Cheaper there than eBay.

I bought Evac on eBay during the summer. He's definitely a cool little figure. I'd say he's worth 25 bucks...but I have trouble totally justifying paying 60 dollars for him.

Still, he fits in really well with the Movie Autobots.

I did something better. I got 40 Evacs from Universal Studios and grabbed a 1:6th Hot Toys Batmobile from Things From Another World in Citywalk.

Is that the comic / toy shop? I rigged that place.

Was that batmobille the Tumbler? That thing was huge.

Yeah it was. It was so huge, I had to call a cab to carry it home.

Did they have anymore Tumblers? I'd love to see that thing in person.

Probably. Most people will probably buy it through Sideshow.

I'm really...REALLY impressed by Evac. He's the shining gem of the DOTM era of movie figures, I think. He isn't perfect, but no toy is, but his backpack really isn't all that bad and surprisingly...he looks really damn awesome.

I just got the legend instead. Looks fine and doesn't have the massive backpack.

I had been hoping the rumored repaint of the deluxe would make it out, but its no big deal at this point as I had also forgotten he existed.

The deluxe is wonderful. I'm sad I don't have the room to display him.

    It's definitely one of the better DotM-styled figures, however . . . .

. . . . I like the Cyberverse figure MUCH more. The Universal Evac is way too much of a shellformer. I think the Cyberverse figure really utilizes the alt mode to make a better robot.

I was okay with the backpack when I realized what it's supposed to look like. A jetpack/flight pack deal. So even if he is mostly a shellformer, the shell is used at least for something pretty awesome. That, I'm okay with. When I think of bad shellformers I think of the Beast Wars crap.

I got one for my birthday along with two tf shirts. It is a fun figure, though I didn't really like the hip blasters..

Got one, I think it's one of the worst movie-like figures. And I'm a huge fan of the movie figures. Transformation is too simplistic, limbs are poorly hidden and the backpack is enormous.

Yeah, I feel it's one of the better shellformers. I still like how the Cyberverse design makes more of the alt mode though.

Speaking of the alt mode, I REALLY like it. Very cool vehicle :)  A Human Alliance version would be rad.

Then again, Human Alliance versions of several others would be too . . . . *sigh*

for 22 bucks there are better things to get... why are they charging so much for a poorly-engineered toy when they cyberverse is more portable and has better engineering?

I'd like a Deluxe Evac but the logistics of getting one when your in the UK don't help.
