Wow. I'm so glad I finally have him! :)  I've been trying to get him for the longest time. He's definitely the most articulate transformer I think I own. I just love this guy! He makes my third figure in the Classics line. (Also have Jetfire and Grimlock)

Am I missing any other great figures like this? Maybe ones from the Classics line?

I gotta agree with you. Mirage is great! I got mine for only $5 at a flea market about a year ago, but I would have gladly paid more.

yeah, Classics Mirage is one of the best ever. Probably the best in the original classics line, but anything you can get in that line is highly recommended. Bumblebee and Hot Rod are ones you should check out next.

Prime is pretty good too. I just got the Henkei one, much cooler then the classics.

Prime is definitely on my list. He's so expensive though! Everywhere I search he's like 40 bucks! It's that upgrade kit/trailer I bet. I'm definitely interested in Prime and Ultra Magnus though.

I already have Cyclonus. He's cool. I love how his nosecone tucks away.

EDIT: Bumblebee looks cool. I saw Peaugh's video review of him last week I think. Pretty interesting. I'll have to check him out.

I like the Classics Mirage mold, as for the most articulate, I think Animated Prowl wins in that category.

Generally better colours (although the lack of silver biceps kinda drowns out the torso in red), but the tolerances aren't quite up to par. The back hinge on mine was all kinds of floppy, and the shoulders weren't as stiff, either.

Classics Mirage is a great figure. Very posable, which is a plus. I also recommend the "movie Fracture" figure. She's a repaint of Mirage in the colors of Crasher from Go-Bots (in fact , I call her Crasher). Even though she's officially part of the movie line, she fits very well in Classics, especially since the Classics stories involve the Go-Bots.

Mirage wins on USEFUL articulation. Prowl is harder to balance, whereas Mirage's big footprint makes him very stable.

Hmm. comparing the two: Prowl doesn't have a waist or any wrist movement. Mirage Has both. Prowl's arms also only bend 90 degrees, while Mirage's arms bend about 260 degrees at the elbow. The only thing that could make Mirage any better was if the head ball joint was located a bit more towards the back of his head, so he could look up better.

Congrats, Mirage is great! One of my favorite TFs ever. I'll pretty much buy any repaint they release of the mold.

Erm, of course Prowl has waist movement. He even needs it in order to transform. And Mirage's wrists only bend inwards, which isn't exactly the most useful point of articulation. I would agree that Mirage is more stable, but Prowl's not really that far behind.

Inferno, Cyclonus, and Sunstreaker/Sideswipe are also great in addition to the Prime mold.
