And it lives up to the hype!
It also makes a great replacement for Megatron, whom I was a little disappointed with. With the removable arm cannons, helmet, and the backpack thing, this thing's got it all.

Now I just wish I had a camera to take pics with!

I still don't understand why he's one of my favorites. BB and G1 Jetfire have more articulation than him, one head is too big, one is too small, the arm guns are poorly designed and the jet cockpit wont lock down in jet mode.

Why do I love him so much? Can you tell me?

I dunno, it just has some kinda charm to it. Kinda like a giant deluxe class, but with heavy weaponry.

And it was such a pleasant surprise that the arm cannons were removable! I wish they did that for megaton, his cannon is so freaking huge that he can't even stand balanced. And plus, Jetfire's cannon's actually fire missles! well, the arm ones anyway.

Firing missles are actually a minus for me. Plus, because of the clip on the arm cannons is so fucking tight, one of them broke in half!

Really? dang. Mine is pretty stable so far, except for those annoying tail fins.

Kinda wish his legs joints were a bit more like Prime's, but he still stands pretty well.

I meant the missles reinforce the missle launcher and help stop it from busting in half. In the area where the red plastic meets the black was little to no glue. Perhapes an isolated case?

I think he's slick. Very nice homage to both the G1 Jetfire figure and Skyfire from the cartoon. Could that be why?

Because he just looks at you going "Come on. COME ON!" Well atleast that what mine does, I can still hear him from the storage box. Maybe thats why he's doing it in the first place? Anyway....

I Love my Jetfire. I never had the G1 version, and I loved Stormbringer, so maybe that's why.

I really like my Jetfire, but it doesn't beat Prime. The main reason is that Prime has next to no click joints, whereas Jetfire has hardly anything BUT click joints.

Oh God, Classics Jetfire is so beautiful. I'm so glad I'm not a "never open boxes" type, or I'd never get to play with such an amazing Transformer.

When I got him, I thought he was cool, but I didn't think he was as great as everyone made him out to be. Today I picked him up from the shelf and messed with him for a while and now I really really like him. Funny how that works sometimes.

its because is the only Autobot (Voyager class) that has the Autobot Logo other than the rub sign logo. Heck, even Optimus Prime does not have the signature Autobot logo on either of his upper arms/delts area. Plus Jetfire have plenty of accessories plus a helmet! He's just freaking awesome!

I find it a little annoying that they chose to have the rubsigns replace the stamped insignia on most Classics toys, but especially that Optimus is the only voyager without painted symbols. Megatron has 'em replacing rubsigns completely, Jetfire has 'em on the wings, and the Magnus repaint has 'em, but Poor Op got passed over.

He's pretty cool. Not as fun as Mirage, but still a good toy. (especially after you figure out the trick with the feet, to get him to stand with his back pack.)

He's gotta be the most heavily armed scientist, ever. :rock

I also really like that his helmet gives him a well proportioned head, instead of the Liefeld-esque pinheads that most TFs get.

Actually I think the wings are the reason he cant stand balanced. Mine stands just fine without them ;)

I agree with Split Lip for the most part. Jetfire has a LOT of faults by my standards, but he's just really likable. His colors, his weaponry, the amount of detail, he's great for a display piece at the very least
