It came with Super Mario World, Zelda Link to the Past, Pilot Wings and Out of This World.

I'm kind of overwhelmed with the number of good games so if anyone can recomend me a few good ones, I'd appreciate it. I'm into most genres.

Awesome, I get to say the two best first!

Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 3 (6). I'll also second Super Metroid, everyone needs that game.

My SNES sorta has a mind of it's own these days... Some days it chooses to work, others it doesn't.

Some of my favourites include Contra, Mario Kart, FFVI, Super Metriod, Mortal Kombat 2, Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV, CHRONO TRIGGER (One of the best JRPG'S ever!!), Terranigma, Mega Man X, Lufia 2 and waaaay to many to name.

    There's a Super Double Dragon?!!

I reccomend you get a Japanese adapter and pick up Gundam Wing Endless Duel and the pinball game based on Ultraman,Kamen Rider, and Gundam.

Can you help me figure out the Final Fantasy series?

I played the first one at my buddies house and 7-10 but 2-6 confuse the crap out of me.

Also I have Chrono Trigger on the DS (I know I'm still probably going to get the original too but not ATM.)

Super Metriod is a must when I find a good price on Ebay.

7 is pretty much 6 but in 3D, gameplay wise, storywise if you see 6 from start to finish I find it a much stronger game than 7. If there's something specific you need to figure out, sure, just let me know.

the numbering for the snes final fantasy games can be a bit confusing. the snes ff2 is what is actually ff4 on all other systems and in japan, and the snes ff3 is what is actually ff6. the original 2, 3, and 5 were never released in english until later remakes came out.

as well, don't bother getting a japanese adapter. the only thing blocking japanese games from playing in an american snes are two tiny plastic tabs in the back of the cartridge slot, which are easily snapped off with needlenose pliers or tin snips or something. i've done it to three systems myself and it works every time.

Well there was no American 6, here we jumped from 3 to 7. But yeah, Japanese 6, what was Final Fantasy 3 for the Super Nintendo.

well, nowadays there is an american 6 for the ps1 and gba, but it's the same game as the snes 3.

basically the snes is the only system where the numbers are messed up, any remakes have the proper numbers.

snes 2 is really ff4, the one with cecil, rosa, and kain (not the one with firion, maria, and guy)
snes 3 is really ff6, the one with locke, celes, and terra (not the one with the 4 job system kids)
