Man, this thing is awesome. Don't know what took me so long. Got Metal Gear Solid: Portable OPS and MLB The Show. I am so impressed. Can't wait to get God of War, Silent Hill, Madden, Castlevania, and GTA: Vice City Stories.

    Anything else I shouldn't miss????

If you like tactical/strategy games, get Jeanne d'Arc.

Ratchet and Clank is fun.. I use mine for video lots of times. Just down load some tv shows and movies and put them on the little memory card and watch them on the PSP.

used the 3gp program linked here for easy conversion.

When you get a PS3, and if you're at work, you can leave your PS3 in remote play and control it from any wi-fi spot, check for new demos or videos and watch them from the PSP... Also next year there is supposed to be an ability to control PS3/2 games in your PS3 using remote play.

As for games... If you like racing games, there is a little sleeper title called MACH that is a blast to play, combining Wipe-out with Jet Fighting. Ace Combat is great, and Killzone is a freekin blast on PSP especially coop. Socom games are amazing, and Final Fantasy Tactics is amazing, even if it's a remake. Dungeons and Dragon Tactics has been taking a lot of time in my system, and I second the motion on Ratchet and Clank, as well as Daxter.. The new Syphon Filter is simply AAA, and has an awesome online mode. Brave Story is a great old-school RPG with some really nice graphics and animation.

I do watch a lot of videos on it too, since converting them is easier now and they have support for the AVC compression (the same compression used in UMD movies).

    Ridge RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACER.

The GTAs are not to bad if you didn't already get the PS2 versions.

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus is coming sometime in november.
I've been playing Crisis Core for the past few weeks. Thank goodness for the Chinese patch which translates everything from Japanese to Chinese.

    :p

I got locoroco and PuzzleQuest and they are great. Even though they are kiddie games they pass the time really fast and are fun too.

Final Fantasy Tactics is a game that I would definitely recommend.

I'm also waiting for Metal Gear: PO plus.

The tv/movie viewing is awesome too.

'the warriors' is an incredibly designed psp game that seems to get overlooked for its console counterparts. get a gta game and portable ops. plenty to keep you going right there!

Got my own PSP last week - the Daxter pack with the 1 gig card.

Haven't touched Daxter - probably won't bother - but I have been playing both Fate/Tiger Colosseum and Jeanne D'Arc on it.

Oh, and the 40k Squad Commander demo. Looks cool.

I guess Logan's Shadow and Virtua Tennis 3 (if I can find it) should be on the horizon at some stage, and I'll be interested in seeing what that Civ Revolution will be like.

Oh, and Crisis Core. When/if it shows up in the west, I'll be going for that, too.

I just wish they hadn't made it so that you need the damned component cable to output games...

I really want to get a new slim but I want the white one with out the star wars theme. Are they ever going to make it?

I was thinking about the silver one also, does it look nice or is it a nasty looking silver plastic?

I have the silver Daxter one as well. I really like the way it looks. If you have seen a Motorola Q (original silver one) it's the same kind of metallic color. Very nice.
