    Hey guys,

I just got an ipod touch, and needed some games recommendation.

I read about Transformers G1: Awakening so that's definitely on my list.

I would like some recommendations on the following:

    1. Tower Defense
    2. Strategy
    3. FPS
    4. Fun, short time killer (things on the go)
    5. Platform Shooter

    Thanks!

    All excellent choices.

    In addition:

The Creeps! - Horror based Tower Defense
Guns N Glory - Western based Tower Defense
Duke Nukem 3D - Needs no introduction
Draw Slasher - Fun time waster
Fingerzilla - Your finger is Godzilla...DESTROY!
Devil Invasion - Puzzle strategy game. Very addivtive
Piyo blocks - Fun, Columns like puzzler
Light Bike - (The first, not part 2) Best Tron Light Cycle game on the app store
Radiant - Galaga/Space Invaders type game, but modernized

Am I the only one here who's played Fruit Ninja and Parachute Ninja?

    Both are great games though

Throwing out there: rRootage is a great old school arcade shooter. Totally safe for the family, regardless of the name. Ika mode is exactly that: Ikaruga.

And I play G1 Awakening, not great, not something I would actually play often.

Angry Birds is a must for on the go pig destruction.

Street fighter iv is a great time killer. The controls are not nearly as bad as you might first think. Plus, there is a simple scheme of punch, kick, focus attack, special move (ie fwd + special = dragon punch, special = fireball, etc...)

It's got Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Abel, Blanka, Bison, and they've released Zangief, Cammy, C. Viper, and Honda as FREE dlc with the latest updates

Also, to echo others, Plants vs zombies and angry birds are fun.

I used some of the free book apps on my iTouch when it worked. Can't remember the names though. (gen 1, died a while ago... *sigh* )
