as a 29th birthday gift, my grandmother has decided to pay for the gas, and hotel room... only thing is, my mom and aunt have made it into a vacation as well, just so i can go, do to 2 prior plans to get to botcon fell through. so i'll be one of the mighty proud 20-somethings to have his mom come along.
get your mom to buy her lil boy some TFs. does poopiekins want a movie optimus, yes he does, yes he does
LOL, it's enough she's actually driving me down there, i dare not ask for anything else ever again. i'm very lucky to have such an understanding parent. she realises how much this means to me, and knows of all the trouble i've gone through since december trying to make plans to go. she's not actually going to the convention however, just drivingme there and beinga tourist for the weekend with my aunt.
My 30th birthday is July 4th and attending Botcon this year is a present from my Mom as well, who will also be attending. She just might hold the record at the convention for oldest attendee. Look for the 69 year old wearing either a dark-blue animated-movie poster shirt, or the army/camo Autobot logo shirt, and pinch her ass.
Understanding parents is a good thing. I told my parents I was going to botcon last weekend, and they were very happy for me. They also understood why I did not mention this sooner (I did not want my nephew to know, because he would be pissed he could not go). I also hope you are able to bring the Liokaiser to show off. I am sure I am not the only one who wants to see it.
you guys should totally take pics of you, mom and cullen, thatd be cool. then tell ppl that cullens your real dad. also, dont let jiggles near your mom.
After my original plans of friends going with me fell through my fiance' decided to go along and just turn it into a vacation for the both of us.
I took my father-in-law last year. It was cool. He helped me get an extra primus package and set of exclusives.
So jealous of you guys who are going. I wish in a few years I'll be able to take my son and wife to a Botcon. Hopefully the convention will return to SoCal again soon.
