We've seen no evidence of a voice actor for shockwave, so maybe he doesn't speak at all? Or maybe just in cybertronian? The idea just came to me. In some ways I think it would be cool, but I would have preferred it if his G1 voice actor was doing his voice (which he confirmed he isn't). What do YOU think?
What I would love? Jeremy Irons doing his voice. What I think? He might indeed speak in Cybertronian, but I find unlikely or there would be evidence of this in the novel [I haven't read it, just to make it clear] but if he were mute, we would have a shitload of topics with the title of "About Shockwave's Voice (SPOILERS)", as there isn't, I can assume he does speak on the novel. Besides, evidence on The Fallen's voice was also lacking for quite a while.
This is a good question. Now that the movie's "done" (so they say), how can we not know who's doing the voice? Does anyone actually "know"?
This could explain the reason for as to why they didn't make a leader class toy as he isn't voiced by Corey Burton and Hasbro was not aloud to use old sound clips of him and because any actor wouldn't work out like the way they did with Leader Ironhide and SP
I wouldn't be supirsed if PeeWee Herman was voicing him. But i do want Burton. It just isn't SHocky without Burton.
I am certain Shockwave will talk. He didn't talk in the game, I am guessing because they really want his voice to be a surprise.
You can't make that judgement based on the fact we haven't heard about a voice actor - besides Tony Todd and Frank Welker, it was exactly the same situation with ROTF, when we heard absolutely doodley-squat about the new voices back then, too.
