Ratchet and Raf created a virus and installed it into Lazerbeak to transfer into Soundwave so while he attempted to decode the Iacon database, it would transfer it to the Autobots base. Now I have two questions (and I've made this topic here because it's been well over two months after the episode aired and I don't like zombies   ) :

1) Is it just a copy of the database that gets transferred to the Autobot's base or does the database get moved.

and

2) Couldn't Soundwave just tweak the virus, when he puts two and two together, and use it to locate the Autobot's base?

1) It is indeed a copy. The Decepticons still have theirs, but the Autobots can now see the codes for themselves without the 'Cons knowing.

2) It is indeed possible that Soundwave could turn the virus against the Autobots and locate their base.

Future episodes will let us know how and if it works out.

 

Well wouldnt it be interesting if the cons found the base. They could destroy the silo forcing the bots to go on the run, only then taking refuge in Ultra Magnus's ship as there new base.

 

imagine soundwave crashing through the roof of the autobots base and just swoops down and kills eveyone...ahhh what a great day that'll be...

 

I would love this. It would be the most epic thing since sliced bread and the bacon-and-barbecue-sauce that can go in the sliced bread.

 

do you know what geewunners think of prime soundwave? I remember a while ago when he first appeared and people freaked out cause they thought he was a girl. But I never really heard how geewunners thought about him, well...I know youngprime's thoughts...he called him shrekwave...that made me wanna stab him..

 

That would shatter the precious status quo into a million pieces, so the writers aren't likely to do it.

 

The thing I have yet to understand (and perhaps this has already been discussed here on the boards), technically, doesn't Megatron know the location of the Autobot base? You would figure Megs would at least have some kind of geological locating technology to know where he is when he was at the Autobot base. No?

I don't think Megatron knows about the virus since in his mind he already got rid of the distraction. But if/when he finds out... I don't think it'll be pretty.

I like the idea of the cons finally finding the Autobot base.

 

I agree with the above but it'll be a long while for Soundwave to detect the virus. The virus was created with human tech which is too low tech for a Cybertronian.

 

I hope the Autobots lose their base. It'll finally change things up, and seriously handicap them by taking away the Autobot's access to a GroundBridge

 

Lol I bet it would be like DOTM with sentinel attacking the nest base. dreadwing is gonna go up in there swinging his sword cutting up the autobots bedrooms, the computers, their fridge. soundwave's gonna tentacle everything, knockout gonna steal arcee's makeup, megatron in gonna take the furniture, and the vehicons are gonna have to clean it all up.

 

No, I bet the Cons would infiltrate when no one's home, and Meagtron would steal the remote.

 

Then he would set the TV so that it only shows Johnny Test all day, every day.

And the commercials would feature Hypno-Soundwave

 

So that virus is like a double-edged sword.
