Looking to install a feedback system to work with this forum.

This will replace the "Junkion Classic Feedback" Forum.

We *MAY be able to cross over old feedback. If not it would begin anew from here.

You would use the Classic/Current Junkion forums to post threads, have people respond, do your deals as you normally do.

When you are done, you both go to the "Feedback Page", enter the URL to the thread, enter comments, done. The system will scan to make sure you and the person you dealt with left posted in the thread you specified.

You can then link to a page which neatly lists all your 2005 Junkion feedback that you have received. This can show in your signature area, your profile, etc etc.

So look over the information below, and let us know if you dig it. One of the members here said he used this exact same system on another board and dug it (while not digging the "new style" junkion system we just removed). So a regular user like yourself has given this a thumbs up already.

Here are the features as described by the program creator:

Features:

* Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
* Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
* Leave multiple comments about the deal
* Dates & IPs are all recorded to prevent abuse
* Specify a thread URL to the deal
* Advanced URL checking
* Display ratings over time
* Filter based on Buyer/Seller/Trade/or feedback they left for others
* Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)
* iTrader Admins can edit/delete anyone's ratings (just incase)
* PM notification when new rating or comment is left
* Per-usergroup permissions
* Lots of admin controllable options

Attached are some screen shots as well.

That is a great Idea. It beats scrolling down comments. The thing is not everyone leaves feedback, something I've been guilty of myself at times. So are you gonna do it like Ebay where you have a spot for leaving feedback and whatever member it was?

It looks ok, but there's another option.

Many of us who use junkion use other sites too for trading. Well there's a unified solution out there called heatware (www.heatware.com). Although started by computer parts trading sites, it can be used for anything. The service is free and it's monitored by real people who can help handle disputes to keep things fair. You may want to check it out as a solution.
