This reviewer on Youtube is using it with his Encore Devy... hope this clears up the air for you guys that own the Encore set. You'll notice in his review he runs into problems but with his gun, etc.. but that's because he didn't put his pieces together and I personally brought it up to him.. also states there's problems with the set but you'll notice he says that he's never owned a Devy before, which he wasn't aware of the devy not being able to withhold a stand..

I'm seeing no forward knee articulation on the JB set. This is a bad thing because Devastator is already incredibly backheavy. Ever notice how the G1 waist piece sets the legs alot further back under the torso? That's the reason. So what does that mean for the JB set? It means that a normal standing pose is going to be a bit difficult. If you've ever closely noticed the Crazy Devy waist pic pieces, you'll see that people get him to do a normal standing pose by using the forward knee articulation which helps simulate the functionality of the G1 waist piece.

There's also something the Crazy Devy set does with regards to Bonecrusher that neither the xtransbots or JB set does. It has an extra elbow piece that sets the forearm so its underneath the actual bulldozer rather than the bulldozer treads. This means that Devvy can point his Bonecrusher arm straight forward without anything getting in the way of the chest shield. This extra elbow piece is removeable from the Crazy Devy forearm, so it should be something you could share with these other sets.

I put my add on kit to use with my Encore Devi. I'm so happy I got this set. It really improves the look of Devastator. This thing NEEDS some type of heel support though. My only complaint is how easily it can fall backwards.

I can't believe that none of these kits come with a heel fix. Seems like a no brainer...

^ It really is a bummer. I was so excited to hold my newly upgraded Devastator and then I put him on the table only to see him fall backwards with pieces flying off.

Heel fix is on the way, I've already got them designed for both feet.

The good news is they are designed, the bad news is it will probably be at least a month until I can start producing them, maybe two.

I think they'll run around $8 - $10 for the pair. Different colors might be an option. I'll be designing and producing other parts as well, and taking requests.

I'll be my own little shapeways.

I'd be interested in a heel set. Even in black, as long as it doesn't hide the existing yellow/green color of the "feet".

I'd be in for a green set as well. If you're working on the color I think D-Unit found a really good match when he repainted his hercules

These won't be painted, they'll be printed in color. You can paint them if you like, of course.

Black will likely be the default, if I can find a good enough green plastic that will be an option as well. Maybe even purple.

Ahh, black would be fine. Asking you to print in color-matched goodness is probably expecting a bit too much.

I just got my JB set in China for $16. I ended up returning the XTransbots set due to the crappy fingers. Having compared the 2 sets in person, the plastic quality is similar on both but the deal killer are the aforementioned crap fingers on the XT set.

As a former owner of the Crazy Devy parts, I kind of expected them to be crappy but these are far worse. The fingers fall off on there own with a simple shake. The seller on TB notified me that the silver leg sets have more sturdy fingers but I'm happy with the JB set.

MegaMoonMan, count me as another person interested in heel upgrades. I don't understand why these "third party" companies didn't include this upgrade for Devy. It seems like a pretty simple fix.
