Gave him a thorough smoked application and then painted many parts and areas for his robotics and arms. Once done, gave him many washes and then a final dusting application. Bike mode comes tomorrow as I just finished his dust apps about 20 minutes ago...
Love it Son! Almost looks like it was done in a new age animation style. Like if the Toon was brought back and made by todays top animation artists in Japan. Like in the style of "Afro Samurai" or such. Great job Zac! I want it man......
That is just amazing. You have great weathering technique. Iam totally envious. I wish i could do that as nicely
This is VERY VERY nice........I like how you made him look as if he'd gone through hell and back. I can imagine Wreck Gar telling him he needs to go down to the local paint/body shop for a special half off deal, then trying to sell him on a case of turtle wax with 2 easy payments of $19.99.....operators are standing by.....
Thanks, lots of practice man. You'll get there. Thanks guys!! I look forward to it man Thanks, it was an enjoyable custom to paint up.
I don't usually dig weathering and dirt on customs, but it really works here and totally isn't an excuse for lazy customing. Awesome work.
Looks amazing. We need a tutorial for those smoked effects! Wish they actually sold dirty junkions at retail!
incredible, superb, fantasitic, amazing...I can go on with the superlatives, but that still wouldn't do this justice.
Thanks guys! Perhaps I may make a tut on that , Basically comes down to time, which I should have a bunch of in March. I plan on making a couple videos about glow effects and washes, and some other things - most of which will be over at Procustomizers.com so be sure to check there as well! Thanks guys, the feedback on this guy is very satisfying to me
