Today is the anniversary of the invasion of Normandy. We can't say 'thank you' enough to those who fought for the World on this day.

I thank all of the brave men who fought in WW2, for if they didn't, I'm sure the world would be a very different place today...

Any solider, no matter the conflict or the country of origin, demands the utmost respect. I tip my hat to the valiant soliders of Normandy.

D-Day may not be as important to today's generation as it is to my generation. but i like to tell people what i get from D-Day.

You may not be fighting against Hitler in some terrible war, but you're still fighting. You fight every day for something and it's worth fighting for. Storm the beach, stand your ground and see your way to victory.

    Don't forget.

    Great minds think alike! :lol

I remember way back in high school I had to do a speech on an historical event and how it changed the world. I didnt even have to think and put together a speech on the D-Day invasion and how it was one of the most piviotal turning points in world history. There are just so many things that when you read the story of the D-Day that make you think "How the hell did they pull this off?!"
There were literally thrown into the gates of hell.
