At E3 2005...I think, alot of people were questioning whether the Killzone 2 trailer was actually in Real time. They neither confirmed or denied this. I figure it'll be Killzone. However, I am not denying the possibility of Warhawk.

 

It was confirmed that it was basically a test-engine, and being sped-up because it ran so slow. not remotely playable, and not running anywhere near as fast as they showed it.

 

if its killzone there really throwing all there hopes into it aren't they?


I'm not trying to bash the game or anything but memory serves the first one was kind of a flop.

 

If it is Killzone then it must have made some amazing progress since the last time I saw it. It looked pretty good, but not good enough for me to shell out $600 for a PS3.

 

Killzone is "E3 bound".

This is most likely the SOE Spy MMO.

Recently read an article in PC Gamer about it. It looks killer. I for one can't wait for Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy and so on and so forth.

 

Hmmm....let's see....what could Sony add to the PS3 that the Xbox 360 doesn't have that could possibly convince me to spend $500 on a PS3 in addition to the >$400 I spent on my 360?

I wish, but this sounds like something existing owners will be getting.

 

I got the link from the Sony board so it may not be TOTAL crap. A lot of people over on those boards think it is the Spy themed MMO game you mentioned. I think that is a more likely possibility than them anouncing a sequel to an existing property. And with all the spazzing about "realtime" It must be impressive looking.

Actually that comes from the VG Forums, not its news section. Their news section isn't bad, and their forums are no different than any other.

That said...

I don't trust anything Sony says. Its biggest asset has been its ability to produce hype for things that don't deserve it. They are especially desperate for good news right now, their fans even moreso, so that makes this even more suspect.

Must be announcing that they finally got Real Time Weapon Change to work. Or that they are completely shifting gears and with the next firmware upgrade it will turn the PS3 into a shiny Black Dreamcast.
